Product details
The Hypertherm 220183 is the genuine OEM 100A/130A shield for mild steel cutting on HyPerformance HPR260, HPR130, HPRXD, HD4070 and HD3070 systems.
The shield protects and cools the consumables behind it, taking the molten spatter thrown up during piercing so the nozzle does not. On some processes it also contributes to the swirling action of the plasma gas.
At 130 amps this shield pairs with electrode 220181 or SilverPlus electrode 220665, nozzle 220182 and swirl ring 220179. On HD3070 systems it also serves the 100 amp mild steel process, where the nozzle is 220510.
