The Hypertherm 220194 is the genuine OEM 30A shield for mild steel cutting on HyPerformance HPR260, HPR130, HPRXD, HD4070 and HD3070 systems.
The shield protects and cools the consumables behind it, taking the molten spatter thrown up during piercing so the nozzle does not. On some processes it also contributes to the swirling action of the plasma gas.
At 30 amps this shield pairs with electrode 220192, nozzle 220193 and swirl ring 220180.
