Product details
The Hypertherm 220202 is the genuine OEM 45A shield for stainless steel and aluminium cutting on HyPerformance HPR260, HPR130, HPRXD, HD4070 and HD3070 systems.
The shield protects and cools the consumables behind it, taking the molten spatter thrown up during piercing so the nozzle does not. On some processes it also contributes to the swirling action of the plasma gas.
At 45 amps this shield pairs with electrode 220308, nozzle 220201 and swirl ring 220180 on both the stainless steel and aluminium processes.
