The Hypertherm 220342 is the genuine OEM 200A swirl ring for stainless steel and aluminium cutting on HyPerformance HPR260, HPR130, HPRXD and HD4070 systems.
The swirl ring controls the swirling action of the plasma gas around the electrode. That swirl centres the arc on the electrode and through the nozzle, which is what delivers faster cut speeds and thicker cut capability.
At 200 amps this swirl ring pairs with electrode 220307 and nozzle 220343 on stainless steel, and nozzle 220346 on aluminium.
