The Hypertherm 220487 is the genuine OEM electrode for MAXPRO200, HSD130 and HyPro2000 systems cutting at 130A on Air or oxygen.
As the arc's electrical contact point, the electrode's condition directly drives cut angle, dross and speed, so it is the consumable to watch. Hypertherm's LongLife process ramps current and gas to slow electrode and nozzle erosion, so genuine parts deliver more starts per change-out than aftermarket copies.
Replace at the pit-depth limit in your manual, and always pair a new electrode with a new nozzle.
