The Hypertherm 220529 is the genuine OEM swirl ring for the low-amperage and non-ferrous processes on MAXPRO200, HSD130 and HyPro2000 systems. On MAXPRO200 it serves 50 amp Air and oxygen, 130 amp nitrogen, 130 amp oxygen extreme bevel and 200 amp nitrogen. On HSD130 it serves 45 amp Air and nitrogen, 50 amp oxygen and 130 amp H35. On HyPro2000 it serves 50 amp Air and 200 amp nitrogen.
The swirl ring controls the rotational gas flow that centres and constricts the arc, so its ports must stay clean and undamaged for square edges. Genuine Hypertherm geometry keeps the flow matched to the LongLife process, where copies drift and cost you cut quality.
Check it at every consumable change and replace when the vents show erosion.
