Product details
The Hypertherm 220532 is the genuine OEM low-amperage shield for MAXPRO200, HSD130 and HyPro2000 plasma systems. It serves 50 amp Air on MAXPRO200 and HyPro2000, 50 amp oxygen on MAXPRO200, and 45 amp Air and nitrogen plus 50 amp oxygen on HSD130.
The shield protects and cools the nozzle from molten metal and contributes to the gas flow around the arc, so keeping a clean, undamaged shield fitted protects the more expensive consumables beneath it. Genuine Hypertherm vented-shield geometry stabilises the arc and lifts pierce capability versus generic replacements.
Replace when the orifice is eroded or the face is heavily spattered.
