Product details
The Hypertherm 220555 is the genuine OEM 50A shield for mild steel cutting on HyPerformance HPR260, HPR130, HPRXD, HD4070 and HD3070 systems.
The shield protects and cools the consumables behind it, taking the molten spatter thrown up during piercing so the nozzle does not. On some processes it also contributes to the swirling action of the plasma gas.
At 50 amps this shield pairs with electrode 220552, nozzle 220554 and swirl ring 220553.
