Product details
The Hypertherm 220629 is the genuine OEM 400A electrode for mild steel cutting on HyPerformance HPRXD systems.
The electrode is the starting point and electrical contact point of the plasma arc. It wears through the hafnium insert as it works, and replacing it on measured pit depth rather than on hours protects the nozzle and the torch behind it.
At 400 amps mild steel this electrode pairs with nozzle 220632, swirl ring 220631 and shield 220636, on both straight-cut and bevel torches. A SilverPlus version, 420530, is available for the same process.
