The Hypertherm 220742 is the genuine OEM 80A/130A bevel shield for mild steel cutting on HyPerformance HPRXD systems.
The shield protects and cools the consumables behind it, taking the molten spatter thrown up during piercing so the nozzle does not. On some processes it also contributes to the swirling action of the plasma gas.
Bevel consumables are not interchangeable with straight-cut parts. This shield covers the 80 amp and 130 amp mild steel bevel processes.
