The Hypertherm 220777 CopperPlus is the long-life alternative to the standard 220842 electrode for Duramax and Duramax Lock torches on the Powermax45 XP, Powermax65, Powermax85 and Powermax105, for 45 to 105 A cutting. Supplied as a pack of 5.
Hypertherm rates CopperPlus at up to twice the life of a standard electrode and recommends it where most of the cutting is 12 mm (1/2 inch) and under. On a production table that means fewer stops to change consumables and a lower cost per cut. It is not used for FineCut, which stays on the 220842.
