The Hypertherm 220832 is the genuine OEM shield for the 200A oxygen mild-steel process on MAXPRO200 and HyPro2000 systems.
At full 200A the shield takes the most spatter and heat, so a genuine vented shield that stabilises the arc and repels molten metal directly protects your nozzle and pierce quality. Copies that miss the vent geometry cost pierce capability and consumable life.
Replace when the orifice erodes or the face is gouged or heavily spattered.
