The Hypertherm 220890 is the genuine OEM nozzle for the 50A Air process on MAXPRO200 and HyPro2000 systems.
The nozzle shapes and constricts the plasma arc, so its bore diameter is the single biggest driver of kerf width and cut angle, and worn nozzles cost precision fast. Genuine Hypertherm Conical Flow nozzles hold the correct bore and cooling geometry, keeping 50A cuts clean over a long life.
Always replace the nozzle together with the electrode, and sooner if you see a widening kerf or increased bevel.
