The Hypertherm 220955 is the genuine OEM deflector for unshielded mechanised cutting on Duramax and Duramax Lock machine torches, used on the Powermax45 XP, Powermax65, Powermax85 and Powermax105.
A deflector replaces the shield when cutting unshielded. It protects the retaining cap from heat and spatter while leaving the nozzle tip exposed, which suits fine work and tables where the operator wants a clear view of the arc. It is also the non-ohmic front-end option for the mechanised FineCut process (the ohmic version is the 220948).
