Product details
The Hypertherm 220976 is the genuine OEM mechanised shield for 65 to 125 A cutting on Duramax Hyamp torches on the Powermax125. Hypertherm also lists Duramax Hyamp torches and consumables as compatible with the Powermax45 XP, Powermax65, Powermax85 and Powermax105.
The shield keeps spatter off the nozzle and directs shield gas around the arc, which protects nozzle life and cut edge quality on a cutting table. For 45 A mechanised cutting the 420168 shield is used instead.
Hypertherm publishes Powermax125 mechanised cut charts on mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium using air. Hypertherm's F5 process is not intended for Duramax Hyamp torches or consumables.
