The Hypertherm 228716 is the genuine OEM main body replacement kit for Duramax full-length 180 degree and 180 degree mini machine torches, used on the Powermax45 XP, Powermax65, Powermax85 and Powermax105.
The main body is the part the consumables screw into. Replacing it, rather than the whole torch and lead, is the economical repair when the torch head is damaged by a crash or arc damage but the lead is sound. It does not fit Duramax Hyamp or Duramax Lock machine torches, which use their own main bodies.
