The Hypertherm 228735 is the genuine OEM front mounting sleeve kit for Duramax 180 degree full-length machine torches on the Powermax45 XP, Powermax65, Powermax85 and Powermax105. It is also used on Duramax MRT retrofit machine torches.
The mounting sleeve is the outer sleeve at the front of the torch, behind the consumables. Replace it if it is cracked, chipped or burnt after a torch crash or a long run of heavy cutting, rather than replacing the whole torch and lead. The 180 degree mini machine torch uses a different front mounting sleeve (220956).
