The Hypertherm 228736 is the genuine OEM adapter ring (coupler) kit for Duramax 180 degree machine torches on the Powermax45 XP, Powermax65, Powermax85 and Powermax105. It is also used on Duramax MRT retrofit machine torches.
The adapter ring is the threaded coupler that joins the torch sleeves together on a full-length machine torch. Replace it if the thread is damaged or the ring is cracked after a torch crash, rather than replacing the whole torch and lead.
