The Hypertherm 228737 is the genuine OEM positioning sleeve kit for Duramax 180 degree full-length machine torches on the Powermax45 XP, Powermax65, Powermax85 and Powermax105. It is also used on Duramax MRT retrofit machine torches.
The positioning sleeve is the long outer sleeve the torch holder clamps on, and it carries the removable gear rack (228738) for the lifter. Replace it if it is cracked or bent after a torch crash, rather than replacing the whole torch and lead. The 180 degree mini machine torch does not use a positioning sleeve.
