Product details
The Hypertherm 228767 is the genuine OEM bulk pack of 25 x 220842 electrodes for Duramax and Duramax Lock torches on the Powermax45 XP, Powermax65, Powermax85 and Powermax105. It is the same electrode as the 220842 pack of 5, boxed in 25s for busy cutting tables, at a lower price per electrode.
The 220842 is the one electrode across the whole Duramax mechanised range, from 30-45 A FineCut through 45, 65, 85 and 105 A cutting. Once the hafnium insert has pitted to around 1 mm deep, arc stability and cut quality drop quickly, so it is normally changed together with the nozzle.
Hypertherm publishes mechanised cut charts on mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium using air, and on stainless steel using F5 at 45 to 105 A on the Powermax65, Powermax85 and Powermax105.
Listed in Hypertherm catalogue 880200 R21, pages 55-65 and 98.
Supplied by Plazmax as an Authorised Hypertherm Channel Partner. Genuine parts, GST-exclusive pricing, dispatched Australia and New Zealand wide.
