Product details
Genuine Hypertherm swirl ring 420407 for the XPR X-Definition plasma cutting range. The swirl ring controls the swirling action of the plasma gas around the electrode, centring the cutting arc and constricting it for faster cut speeds.
Fitment: 30 A on the O2/O2 process, for mild steel. Listed in Hypertherm catalogue 880620 R12, page 6.
The XPR torch stack is shield cap, shield, nozzle retaining cap, nozzle, swirl ring, electrode and water tube. Shield cap 420200, nozzle retaining cap 420365 and water tube 420368 are common to every XPR amperage and process, so only the shield, nozzle, swirl ring and electrode change between set-ups.
