The Hypertherm 428930 is the genuine OEM cartridge for mechanised cutting at 65 A on Powermax65 SYNC, Powermax85 SYNC and Powermax105 SYNC machine torches.
65 A is the full rated output of a Powermax65 SYNC, a system Hypertherm gives a recommended cut capacity of 20 mm and severance of 32 mm. On an 85 or 105 SYNC the same cartridge is the mid range setting.
Hypertherm publishes cut charts for this cartridge on mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium using air, and on stainless steel using F5. See cut charts guide 810500MU Revision 4, and Hypertherm catalogue 880200 R21 pages 18 and 47.
