428951 Hypertherm Cartridge Torch Adapter - Duramax Torches - Powermax45 XP/65/85/105

The Hypertherm 428951 is the genuine OEM torch adapter that converts a Duramax torch on a Powermax45 XP, Powermax65, Powermax85 or Powermax105 to the Hypertherm cartridge consumable platform.

It fits Duramax Lock hand, mechanised and robotic torches on the Powermax45 XP, and Duramax hand, mechanised and robotic torches on the Powermax65, 85 and 105. Once fitted, the torch runs one-piece cartridges in place of the five-piece shield, retaining cap, nozzle, electrode and swirl ring stack. Cartridges are colour coded by process and marked with their amperage and part number, so there is no stack to mix up.

Check before ordering. Hypertherm does not recommend the adapter on Duramax retrofit torches for the Powermax1000, 1250 or 1650, and it is not compatible with Duramax Hyamp standard or long torches. Powermax65, 85 and 105 SYNC systems with SmartSYNC torches already run cartridges and do not need it. On a Powermax45 XP in a mechanised application, Hypertherm recommends using the 45 A cut charts.
