The Hypertherm 528160 is the genuine OEM Hyamp cartridge adapter that converts a Duramax Hyamp torch on a Powermax125 to the Hypertherm cartridge consumable platform.
It fits Duramax Hyamp hand, machine, robotic and long torches. Once fitted, the torch runs one-piece Hyamp cartridges in place of the five-piece shield, retaining cap, nozzle, electrode and swirl ring stack: the 528162 hand cartridges for drag cutting and the 528161 mechanised cartridges for cutting tables, in 45, 65, 85 and 105 A, with FineCut versions also available. The adapter adds about 33 mm to the length of the consumables from the torch head.
Check before ordering. Hypertherm lists the 528160 for Powermax125 systems only. For Duramax and Duramax Lock torches on the Powermax45 XP, 65, 85 and 105, the matching adapter is the 428951. It is not recommended for Duramax retrofit torches on the Powermax1000, 1250 or 1650.
