Product details
The Hypertherm 220435 is the genuine OEM 260 amp electrode for mild steel cutting on HyPerformance HPR260 and HPRXD systems.
The electrode is the starting point and electrical contact point of the plasma arc. It wears through the hafnium insert as it works, and replacing it on measured pit depth rather than on hours protects the nozzle and the torch behind it.
At 260 amps this electrode pairs with nozzle 220439, swirl ring 220436 and shield 220440. A SilverPlus version, 220668, is available for the same process and typically delivers around twice the life of the copper electrode.
