Product details
The Hypertherm 220658 is the genuine OEM 200A bevel shield for mild steel cutting on HyPerformance HPRXD systems.
The shield protects and cools the consumables behind it, taking the molten spatter thrown up during piercing so the nozzle does not. On some processes it also contributes to the swirling action of the plasma gas.
Bevel consumables are not interchangeable with straight-cut parts. At 200 amps mild steel bevel this shield pairs with nozzle 220659 and electrode 220662.
