Product details
The Hypertherm 220761 is the genuine OEM 200A shield for mild steel cutting on HyPerformance HPRXD systems.
The shield protects and cools the consumables behind it, taking the molten spatter thrown up during piercing so the nozzle does not. On some processes it also contributes to the swirling action of the plasma gas.
At 200 amps mild steel this shield pairs with nozzle 220354, swirl ring 220353 and retaining cap 220757. HPR260/130 systems use shield 220356 for the same process.
