The Hypertherm 428950 is the genuine OEM O-ring kit for the SmartSYNC torch head on Powermax65 SYNC, Powermax85 SYNC and Powermax105 SYNC. Five O-rings per kit.
The O-ring seals the cartridge to the torch head. A dry, flattened or nicked O-ring lets gas past the seal, which shows up as poor cut quality and short consumable life long before it shows up as a leak. It is the cheapest part in the torch and the one most worth having on the shelf.
