Product details
The Hypertherm 220339 is the genuine OEM 80 amp electrode for stainless steel cutting on HyPerformance HPR260, HPR130, HPRXD, HD4070 and HD3070 systems.
The electrode is the starting point and electrical contact point of the plasma arc. It wears through the hafnium insert as it works, and replacing it on measured pit depth rather than on hours protects the nozzle and the torch behind it.
At 80 amps this electrode pairs with nozzle 220337, swirl ring 220179 and shield 220338. It is also the electrode for the 60 amp HDi process, which is available on HPRXD systems only; HDi delivers HyDefinition cut quality on thin stainless from 3 mm to 6 mm.
