The Hypertherm 220975 is the genuine OEM 125 A nozzle for Duramax Hyamp torches on the Powermax125. Hypertherm also lists Duramax Hyamp torches and consumables as compatible with the Powermax45 XP, Powermax65, Powermax85 and Powermax105, supplied as a pack of 5. Hypertherm rates it at 125 A and it is used for the higher-amperage Powermax125 processes.
The nozzle orifice shapes and constricts the arc, so its condition decides kerf width, bevel and dross. Match the nozzle to the amperage you set: running a nozzle above its rating damages the orifice quickly. On a cutting table the Duramax Hyamp mechanised stack is the 420168 or 220976 shield, the 220977 retaining cap (or 420156 ohmic), the 420158, 420169 or 220975 nozzle, the 220971 electrode and the 220997 swirl ring.
Hypertherm publishes Powermax125 mechanised cut charts on mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium using air. Hypertherm's F5 process is not intended for Duramax Hyamp torches or consumables.
