The Hypertherm 428926 is the genuine OEM FineCut cartridge for mechanised cutting at 30 A to 45 A on Powermax45 SYNC, Powermax65 SYNC, Powermax85 SYNC and Powermax105 SYNC machine torches.
FineCut is Hypertherm's thin material process. It constricts the arc to cut sheet and light plate with a narrower kerf and less edge bevel than the standard 45 A cutting cartridge, which makes it the one to reach for on gauge material and fine detail work.
Hypertherm publishes high speed and low speed FineCut charts for this cartridge on mild steel and stainless steel using air, plus a marking chart. See cut charts guide 810500MU Revision 4, and Hypertherm catalogue 880200 R21 pages 18 and 47.
