Product details
The Hypertherm 220189 is the genuine OEM 80 amp shield for mild steel cutting on HyPerformance HPR260, HPR130, HPRXD, HD4070 and HD3070 systems.
The shield protects and cools the consumables behind it, taking the molten spatter thrown up during piercing so the nozzle does not. On some processes it also contributes to the swirling action of the plasma gas.
At 80 amps mild steel this shield pairs with SilverPlus electrode 420566, nozzle 220188 and swirl ring 220179. On HD3070 systems it also serves the 70 amp stainless steel process.
